GEICO Special Branded Mini-Series and Multi-Platform campaign released on YouTube and Social Media

Geico has a long history of working with creators to sponsor creative content executions across premium video, broadcast, social and 360 campaigns. As part of that initiative, they've sponsored numerous seasons of the long-running, hilarious and family friendly "Convos With My 2 Year Old" series helmed by writers/directors/stars Matt Clarke and Davids Milchard. We've worked with the Convos team for several years now, and we also happened to work with Lindsey Stirling - musician, YouTube star with 10M subscribers and creator of stellar music videos.
So, Geico approached us in Q4 with some extra dollars left to spend in the year. When they said they LOVED working with the Convos guys, but that they were also interested in expanding to more creators including interest in Lindsey Stirling... we didn't miss a beat. Knowing Lindsey was interested in pursuing more chances to play in scripted content and was currently looking for sponsorship for an upcoming music video to be released on her channel, we suggested a collaboration and cross-promotion.
In an incredibly successful deal:
- Geico was able to present the newly released song/video on Lindsey's YouTube channel
- Lindsey appeared in a 3 episode "mini-series" on the Convos YouTube channel
- Social campaign from both creators and the brand created additional reach/awareness
- All sides walked away happy
